K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Installation - 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander- Video

Hey everybody, Ryan here at e.trailer. Today on our 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the K-Source Universal Fit Dual Lens Towing Mirror.The towing mirror is really going to help expand our field of view. That can be especially useful whenever we're making a lane change, backing up into a tight parking spot, or maybe just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us. And since this towing mirror has dual lenses, you're able to get a couple of different looks at it, a couple of different angles, so that can really come in handy sometimes.To give an example on how much more ground we are going to be able to cover, as you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror, but not in our factory mirror. However, if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror. That's really going to help eliminate any of those blind spots as well.I will say this mirror does fit nice and tight against the factory housing, and that's really important. more

CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport- Video

This particular one comes in a quantity of one. You can get it in a quantity of two, with the kit, part number 11953-2.One of the benefits about these dual view towing mirrors is the extended field of view that you get while you're driving. To give you an example, right now I'm in the factory-style towing mirror. You get a decent view of your towing trailer, but for changing lanes and such as that when you're on the highway, it does have a benefit to be able to see this far out, and even for backing up your trailer or parking to see even this far out, with the smaller mirror.Both mirrors are adjustable independently to suit your needs, and it also doesn't affect the adjustments of your actual factory mirror as well. more

This comes in a quantity of two as part number KS3990.One of the major advantages of having these towing mirrors is, once you're traveling down the road, you have a greater field of view. To give you an example, right now you can see me in the normal factory mirror, and you have an okay view of your actual trailer. When you want to change lanes, or when you want to back this in, or you want to park it, it benefits you to have that extra field of view out here, and even further out this way.Once installed, the mirrors have complete adjustability for the small, the large, and you still can adjust your factory mirror as needed. This is one of the easier mirrors to install. It actually has a ratchet system, which cuts down a lot of time of installation. more

However, for when you want to change lanes, back up, or park, it's going to help to have that extra field of view further out like you see here.The towing mirror is adjustable back and forth, and up and down, as needed, and it won't block the view of your factory mirror. In fact, your factory mirror can still be adjusted as necessary as well. more
